Camp High-Tor will open Thursday, June 9, for eleven weeks of activities this summer. The camp off North Poplar Fork in Teays Valley is operated by the Tri-County Y.

No one is turned away from Y activities for inability to pay, and Putnam Rotary today gave a donation to the scholarship fund which last year supported 266 families.

The summer camp program has been an ongoing Rotary project. In addition to the camping scholarships, Rotary built a bath house for the camp swimming pool. And Putnam Rotarians gave the camp a major rehabilitation and cleanup when it was first opened by the Tri-County Y.
