August 17, 2010

Putnam Rotary today awarded the Arts in Action program a grant to help pay for wood flooring for a third studio added during recent renovations. This studio will house the Theater program, Percussion Program, Appalachian Children’s Chorus and Spirit in Action Cheerleading Program.

Beginning September 7th, comprehensive education in Dance, Theater, Music, Art, Choir and Cheerleading for students Pre-School through Adult will be offered, all under one roof.

Arts in Action

"We are ecstatic about the expansion" states founding director Joni Prince. "Our mission is to make a significant impact in the lives of students and families through the arts. The expansion allows students an opportunity to have hands on experience in a wide variety of art methods, find their passion and develop their artistic gift to their highest potential in a Christian atmosphere."
