Putnam Rotarians lined up early to ring the bells at Salvation Army charity kettles with a check presented last Tuesday to Capt. Brooks Gilliam.

Today, however, was the time for others to join in with Christmas charity at the Kroger's kettle on Great Teays Boulevard.

Manning the station at diferent hours were Bob and Mary Keely, Randy Lucas and Laberta Salamacha, Jennifer Vance and Cindy Skiles, Chet Marshall and Diana Casto, Don Broyles and Sherri Payne, David Cleek and Cheryl Rust, Joe and Karen Haynes, Robert Jackson and Eric Pritt, Chet and Vickie Marshall, Jane Pack and Diana Wilson.

Participation in the Salvation Army community charity and its support has been an ongoing project for Putnam Rotary.
