Diana L. Wilson, Development Officer for the CAMC Foundation, was formally inducted into the ranks of Putnam Rotary today.
While living in Teays Valley, she served as President of the Putnam County Kiwanis Club and belonged to the Putnam County Federation of Democratic Women. Diana is a graduate of West Virginia University Institute of Technology
Her son, Shane, is a student at Washington & Lee majoring in languages. He plans to attend law school. He is currently doing a spring internship at The American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. and will work in D.C. this summer for the Peace Corps in the Congressional office.
Diana's interests include traveling, dancing, yoga, cooking, golfing and theater. Diana loves the West Virginia Symphony.
A frequent visitor to the lucheons of the Putnam group, Wilson over two yers ago announced plans for a patient simulation center at CAMC,
The new center would be used to train students from WVU, Marshall, the University of Charleston, and nursing programs throughout the region.
It would be one of the few regionally-based, multiple-user facilities in the country. The nearest similar facility at the time was in Pittsburgh.
