Putnam Rotarians today donated funds for 'CARE' packages from home for local troops serving abroad.

Chairperson for the project was Teresa Baggette, supervisor for the local Manpower office. Manpower is joining with Rotary in the appreciation support project.

Rotarians funded the donation with "Happy Dollars," a weekly volunteer offering for thanks, bragging time and announcements by individual members.

Baggette's husband Jason is presently serving in Iraq.
