President Mary Keely accepts projector from Herman Dixon

On behalf of State Farm Insurance, Regional Field Respresntative Herman L. Dixon today donated a computer projector to Putnam Rotary.

The club often hears special presentations by speakers at its Tuesday luncheon meetings, and heretofore the visitors needed to bring equipment or make special arrangements.

The SharpVision LCD computer projector presented today means that the usual rush to obtain projection and display equipment for noon programs will be less of a problem.

In the past, equipment was usually borrowed. On demand, it often failed to work. Sometimes speakers brought their personal "techonology experts" to assist with the visual aids in a presentation.

Dixon, a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow has been a frequent contributor through Rotary to Putnam community service projects.
