BILL ELLIS TO SPEAK TO BARBOURSVILLE ROTARY CLUB

Bill Ellis, a West Virginia "Rotarian of the Year" in 1999 -2000, will be the guest speaker for the Barboursville Rotary Club, at the Guyan Country Club, at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, September 13.

Rotary Club president, Shari Messinger, says, "We are delighted to have Bill Ellis speak to our club. He is widely used in Rotary Clubs and Rotary Conventions in our area. He comes on the high recommendations of our current District Governor, Ken Jascot and past District Governor, Pat Thomas. We expect a full house to hear his special message."

He will be speaking on the subject, "Leading The Way In Recruiting and Retaining Rotary Members". Ellis believes that Rotary and other service clubs to whom he speaks are privileged people who carry major responsibilities for making life better for others in their state and world.

Ellis speeches are filled with humor and unusual stories from the world of sports, business, politics, education and health care. His weekly award winning syndicated newspaper column is read each week on the six major continents and in numerous countries as well as in the United States.

One of his recent Rotary speeches was televised and then excerpts used in the evening news. He was also interviewed for special comments about his speech and work. Having spent many years in both radio and television, he is at home and at ease with the media.

Bill Ellis has been a convention and conference speaker on the six continents, many countries, the island nations and throughout the United States.

The Putnam Rotary meets at noon every Tuesday
at Sleepy Hollow Country Club.
