Chet R. Marshall was recognized today by Putnam Rotary as a "Paul Harris Fellow". This is the second time Marshall has been so honored by the highest award given by Rotary International.
Anyone who contributes – or in whose name is contributed – a gift of $1,000 or more to the Annual Programs Fund of Rotary International may become a Paul Harris Fellow.
Each new PHF receives a commemorative certificate, a pin, and a medallion. Donors are eligible for Paul Harris Fellow recognition when their cumulative giving reaches $1,000.
At home in Putnam County, Marhall has travelled and lectured in every state in the U.S., in Canada, Central America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
In his latest book, "Craft a Life of Passion, Purpose and Prosperity," he declares "it is my passion to bring prosperity to others."
We grow in spirit by "adding value" to others, Marshall tells his audiences. His personal prayer: "May my success in adding value to myself be done only to lead to significance by adding value to others."
