President Rick Slater welcomed into the ranks of Putnam Rotary two newly-nominated candidates during a luncheon meeting today at Sleepy Hollow Country Club.

Brad Boerger is Branch Manager for C. H. Robinson Worldwide Logistics with offices at 500 Corporate Centre Drive in Scott Depot.

With 4,800 employees in 176 offices worldwide, CHRW in 2004 grossed $4.3 billion on 3.8 million shipments for more than 18,000 customers.

In addition to service for truck, rail, ocean, and air transportation throughout the world, the Fortune 500 comany also provides worldwide sourcing and information services.

Brad is at home in Hurricane with wife Michelle and their son Thomas.

A member of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, Brad is active in an amateur baseball league. He also enjoys golf and water skiing.

Laberta Stewart Salamacha is a clinical psychologist who has been "coaching for success" for over twelve years.

Besides working in a clinical private practice, she has done business and professional seminars for large corporations and government agencies. She has held several concurrent positions during her career. She has been director of a forensic unit at a regional jail, alcohol/drug counselor, executive director for a non-profit agency, owns her own health and wellness business, and is a part-time college instructor.

Salamacha has received the Marshall University College of Liberal Arts Distinguished Alumnus Award and an award for outstanding dedication and commitment to the West Virginia Psychological Association.

When away from her office at Salamacha & Associates, 4031 Teays Valley Road in Scott Depot, she reads, enjoys music and the theatre, and likes to travel.

She recently attended the Rotary International 100th Anniversary Convention in Chicago with husband Randy Lucas, who is an Assistant District Governor for RI District 7550.

Laberta and Randy are at home in Hurricane.
