Rick Slater, incoming club President, and Mary Keely, President-Elect for 2006-07, congratulated Broyles on the club's achievement. Said Keely to the retiring president, "Looks like our club did wonderful things under your leadership!!! You have certainly put Putnam on the radar screen as a supporter of the programs and missions of Rotary International. "Thank you for your commitment to Rotary in our area and your vision for our club as an active supporter of Rotary on an International level -- GREAT JOB!!!!" Much of the charitable and community work by Putnam Rotary is supported by its annual charity golf tournament. The Tenth Annual Tournament is scheduled for Sleepy Hollow Country Club on Monday, August 1st, 2005.
