new Putnam Rotarians

The business and professional group started in 1905 by Chicago businessman Paul Harris which "rotated" among offices and became today's Rotary International today gained six new members.

Inducted into Rotary were Laquita Harris, Terry Mathias, Lisa Mitchell, Karen Mundy, Jaime Smith, and Joyce Weiskircher.
. Laquita Harris is External Affairs Specialist for Toyota WV. She and husband Victor make their home in Hurricane with their three children Joseph, Bethany and Jackson. Laquita is active with the Buffalo School Improvement Council, the Minority Business Development Board, and the Public Relations Society of America. She is a member of the board for the Education Alliance. Her favorite passtimes are reading, bowling, and interior design.
Terry Mathias is an Associate with AFLAC/Voluntary Employee Benefits with offices on Mt. Vernon Road. A player of tennis and golf, Terry also enjoys piano and jazz music. He is a member of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Terry and wife Maureen reside in South Charleston.
A Commercial Lender with City National Bank, Lisa Mitchell is a Board Member for the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. Lisa is an "outdoors" person with interests in hiking and biking. She also enjoys golf. Lisa and husband David reside in Cross Lanes.
Karen Mundy is Banking Center Manager for the new Fifth Third Bank Branch on Mt. Vernon Road. Her interests include reading, walking and soccer. In addition, Karen is an avid fan of Mountaineer football. Son Michael is a freshman at WVU. Karen and husband Doug reside with their daughter Andrea in Hurricane.
A Mortgage Loan Originator with Fifth Third Bank on Mt. Vernon Road, Jaime Smith enjoys reading, crafts and hiking. Se resides at Lesage with husband Shannon and their 10-month-old son Caleb. Jaime is active in Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
Joyce Weiskircher is Human Resource Manager for Putnam County Bank. She is a Board Member for the St. Albans Renaissance Group, and active with the Design and Economic Restructuring Committee. Joyce resides in Hurricane with husband Joe and daughters Jessica and Andrea.
