ROTARIANS IN THE COMMUNITY

On February 23rd, Putnam Rotarians delivered Thesauruses to students at Poca Middle and George Washington Middle Schools. At right, Laberta Salamacha (left) explains the use of a thesaurus while Randy Lucas distributes the new books.

Nearly 700 copies of the thesaurus have been distributed through thedictionary project in the local club.

ROTARIANS IN THE COMMUNITY
On December 6th, Rotarians rang the bell for the Salvation Army kettle at Teays Valley Krogers. Among those keeping the kettle (top) were Putnam Commissioner Joe Haynes and his wife Karen. Others (bottom, left to right) included David Powell, Jason Shepherd, James McKee, and Tom Midkiff. Some twenty Rotarians altogether participated in the service project.
