Rotary Service Scholarship Fund
The Putnam County Rotary Club has announced the establishment of the Rotary Service Scholarship Fund. This need-based scholarship will be awarded to college-bound students from each of the four Putnam County high schools who meet the criteria and are selected by the club's Scholarship Committee. Each candidate must demonstrate involvement in one of the following areas:
  • Entrepreneurial projects or organizations
  • Community service programs
  • School service programs
In addition, the criteria include a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Financial guidelines will also apply.

First Market Bank has committed to being a leader in funding for the scholarships, and other local businesses will be participating as well.
